Cons of Dropping the Bomb
The atomic bombing of Japan added unnecessary lives lost to the already shocking amount of dead in the war. The atomic bombs also produced radiation when dropped, which killed many people slowly and gave them horrible symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, and fever, all of which were at very severe levels. The radiation killed everything it could get to like people, animals, and the environment. The environment was unlivable for years because of the radiation. Another thing about destroying the environment was that any endangered species in that area is now lost for future generations. Due to the United States possession of an atomic bomb, the nuclear race would begin. A debate would start, since the United States thought it was ok to drop a weapon with this kind of destruction, the world may now feel it needs to develop and stock pile the atomic bomb
